After doing a lot of experiments in combining software engineering, design, art, video and performance Frank Arnold and Daniel Dihardja from Stuttgart – Germany decided to take a step further and form an independent new media art group called „xciba“. Since the new media art is an endless land of possibilities, xciba sees it main potential in the field of human-computer interaction.

Human computer interaction is the study of interaction between the user and the computer. The interaction of the user and the computer occurs at the „user interface“ which includes „software“ and „hardware“.

Through the development of unique user interfaces and application xciba’s goal is to give users brand new experiences while interacting with computers in various kind of fields like education, gaming and interactive art.
